Ubermorgen.com: Nu is Ebay aan de beurt

Vorig jaar, tijdens DEAF 2007, vertelde Alessandro Ludovico me al dat de kunstenaars van Ubermorgen.com een nieuw 'slachtoffer' hadden voor hun internettrilogie. Eerst was er Google Will Eat Itself, toen Amazon Noir, en nu The Sound of Ebay.

Ik kreeg een enorm lang persbericht in de mail, maar eigenlijk moet je gewoon zelf bekijken wat ze nu weer hebben gedaan. De website zelf is al een belevenis op zich: het lijkt wel teletekst! Ik krijg alleen de liedjes niet aan de praat...

UBERMORGEN.COM is attracted by the surface of Google, Amazon and eBay, the three historical e-giants brilliantly surviving the dotcom boom and the legendary crash at the end of that era. Back then and still today the three kings form the powerful spearhead of e-commerce (EKMRZ). By creating the third piece – The Sound of eBay – we wrap up the trilogy we had started in 2005.
